Description
The ‘White Nights’ watercolours, designed for professional artists, are made from fine-grained pigments and natural gum arabic. All of the watercolours in the ‘White Nights’ range are safe, certified and comply with the international ASTM D-4236 standard.
The high pigment content gives the paints intense and pure colours, which are retained even when diluted with a large amount of water. The excellent transparency of the paints makes it possible to work with thin, clean glazing layers. These pure colours blend well together and allow you to create a rich variety of intermediate shades.
All colours in the set, except for Golden, have the highest level of fade resistance (★★★). High lightfastness ensures that works of art retain their colours for more than 100 years.
The 21-colour palette in this set has been developed in collaboration with the celebrated watercolour artist Jelena Bazanova. The set includes both essential basic shades and the latest popular colours. The palette is primarily composed of vibrant colours, which, when mixed together, can be used to create varied and distinctive colour combinations.
A sturdy and compact metal box protects the paints during transport and keeps the paint pans in place. The integrated mixing palette in the box allows you to blend colours with ease. The metal ring at the base allows you to hold the box securely whilst painting, making the set well-suited for painting outdoors and in situations where a table or other support surface is not to hand.
