ROSA Gallery’s professional watercolours are made from high-quality organic and inorganic pigments and natural gum arabic. The gum arabic ensures good adhesion of the colour and its even distribution on the paper. The high pigment content allows for a wide range of colours, from intense, saturated shades to delicate, translucent layers of colour.
The Botanical set’s 14-colour palette has been selected specifically for botanical painting. The colour selection includes various shades of yellow, red, pink, blue and green, which allow you to capture the subtle colour transitions of flowers, leaves and other parts of plants. The transparency of watercolours works well with the layer-by-layer approach typical of botanical painting and the use of glazing techniques.
The paints are made from finely ground pigments. ROSA Gallery uses a natural drying process for its watercolours, which means that once dry, the paint dissolves easily in water and is simple to pick up with a brush.
The set contains 14 full-size 2.5 ml paint pans in a compact metal tin. The metal case protects the paints during transport, and its inner surface can be used for mixing paints.
